At VERSO, we believe the future demands a different set of skills to those traditionally taught in conventional, narrow academic programs. That's why we embraced the challenge to rethink and reimagine the school experience so it can better prepare students for what lies ahead. 
 
There are 2 scholarship programs available:
AMBASSADOR Scholarship - Open for students from Grades 9 - 11
 
TALENT Scholarship - Open for students from Grades 5 - 11

 

VERSO Ambassador Scholarship

VERSO Ambassador Scholarships are intended to support exceptional high school students who have the drive and determination to pursue their dreams and create a positive impact. We're calling for young entrepreneurs, social rights & environmental advocates, filmmakers, artists, photographers, athletes, musicians, and performers who strive to make a difference. Prospective applicants will convince the Scholarship Selection Panel that the opportunity to complete their full high school education at VERSO will give them the chance to realize their true human potential and become role models, and by virtue of their efforts and experiences, these incredible young people will become true ambassadors for a VERSO education. Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate, with clear evidence, qualities such as leadership, integrity, self-direction, and a high level of academic aptitude.

These scholarships are awarded to a select number of outstanding high school students (Grades 9 - 11) each year.

The scholarship includes a reduction in the tuition supported by BTS Group Holdings Public Limited per academic year.

 
Who can apply?

For Grades 9 -11 students

The VERSO Ambassador Scholarships are intended to support high school students (Grade 9 - Grade 11) who have the drive and purpose to lead their own journey in ways that align with VERSO’s purpose pillars and mindsets.

Applicants can apply for either or both scholarships.

What is the process for applying?

Step 1:

Applicants must make a VIDEO no longer than 3 minutes, that tells us why you want to apply for The VERSO Ambassador Scholarship. This video can be as creative as possible.

Applicants must also WRITE a personal statement (750 words maximum) using all, or any, of the following 4 questions as prompts.  

  1. How Curious to Explore are you?
  2. In what ways are you Inspired to Connect with the world around you?
  3. When have you felt Driven to Contribute?  
  4. Why do you think being Equipped to Transition matters? 

Step 2:

Successful applicants will be invited to INTERVIEW with the Scholarship Selection Panel. Applicants will need to prepare a short presentation to the panel to support their application.

All scholarship applicants who are not currently enrolled at VERSO must complete the school’s online application form. Simply click 'Apply Now' on this page to get started and we will email you everything needed.

Current students at VERSO who would like to apply for a scholarship are requested to submit the items listed above to the Admissions team for consideration. 



 

VERSO Talent Scholarship

VERSO Talent Scholarships are awarded to students in Grades 5-11 who possess a truly outstanding talent, ability or passion and are committed to developing their full potential. Student applicants must be able to demonstrate their outstanding talent, and convince the Scholarship Selection Panel that being a VERSO student would allow them to flourish. A VERSO Talent Scholarship can be taken in conjunction with other approved tuition fee schemes.

The scholarship includes a reduction of tuition covered by VERSO per academic year.

 
Who can apply?

The VERSO Talent Scholarship is open to all students from Grade 5 - Grade 11. 

Applicants can apply for either or both scholarships.

What is the process for applying?

Step 1:
Prepare a DIGITAL TALENT PORTFOLIO to showcase your outstanding talent. This can include images, videos, and text to help support your application. 

Step 2:
Write a PERSONAL STATEMENT (750 words maximum) explaining why you are applying and why you are the bet candidate for the VERSO Talent Scholarship.

 

NOTE: Please note that if you are selected for a scholarship interview, you will need to prepare a short presentation to the Scholarship Selection Panel to support your application. A physical portfolio can be presented at this time.

All scholarship applicants who are not currently enrolled at VERSO must complete the school’s application form using VERSO’s Open Apply admissions platform. Simply click 'Apply Now' on this page to get started and we will email you everything needed.

Current students at VERSO who would like to apply for a scholarship are requested to follow the process for applying minus the General application form.

FAQs

 What scholarships do you have on offer?

There are currently two scholarships being offered:

The VERSO Ambassador Scholarship (Grades 9 - 11)

Intended to support High School students who have the drive and purpose to lead their own journey in ways that align with VERSO’s pillars and mindsets. 

The VERSO Talent Scholarship (Grades 5-11)

Awarded to students in Grades 5-11 who possess a truly outstanding talent, ability or passion and are committed to developing their growth mindset and reaching their potential. 

Applicants can apply for either or both.

How does my child win a scholarship?

The school will appoint a Scholarship Selection Panel to review all scholarship applications. Applicants will be assessed according to the assessment criteria set out for each scholarship category. 

The selected final candidates will meet with VERSO’s Executive Committee for an interview to share why you should be awarded the scholarship. VERSO’s Executive Committee decisions in relation to scholarships are final, and no correspondence will be entered into their consideration.

How do we apply for a scholarship? 

For non-VERSO candidates, please submit both the general online application form and submit the documents required per the scholarship you are applying for to the Admission team.

How many years does the scholarship cover?

Scholarships are offered for up to 4 years. 

Scholarships are reviewed annually to ensure all agreements and responsibilities are being met. Continuation of the scholarship is subject to the recipient successfully meeting program requirements. This includes maintaining appropriate academic achievement, meeting all behavioral expectations and adhering to all program rules including the payment of any schools fees. 

If I am not successful for the scholarship this year, can I apply for next year?

Yes, you are welcome to apply next year for the VERSO scholarships. 

Is there an age limit for the scholarships? 

The VERSO Ambassador Scholarship is open to students in Grades 9 - 11. 

The VERSO Talent Scholarship is open to students in Grades 5 - 11.

Can existing students apply for the scholarships? 

Yes, current VERSO students are welcome to apply and must submit the required documents per scholarship being applied for to the VERSO Admissions Team. 

What percentage of the fees do the scholarships cover?

The reduction in tuition fee is variable depending on the Grade of Entry and the Scholarship being awarded. Please contact the VERSO Admissions Team for further details at admissions@verso.ac.th OR 020-80-6200

What type of students are you looking for? 

The VERSO Ambassador Scholarship: 

We are looking for young people who have a strong sense of who they are and what they want to achieve and are already playing an active role in realizing their ambitions. Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate, with clear evidence, qualities such as leadership, integrity, self-direction and a high level of academic aptitude. These individuals will be recognized as advocates, ambassadors and role models for a ‘VERSO education’.  We are looking for amazing young people who have the drive and determination to pursue their dreams and create positive impact. We want to hear from aspiring young entrepreneurs with the skills to take an idea and turn it into a business. We’re excited to meet passionate individuals who are active in promoting social justice, equity, or environmental issues.

We’re looking for talented filmmakers, photographers, artists, musicians, and performers who are using their art to make a difference. Are you a coder, designer, or app developer who’s already inspired to solve some of humanity’s most pressing problems? Are you talented in sports? Are you a leader? Are you driven to do more? Are you someone with a powerful story to tell - if so, we want to hear it.

Is there a cut-off date for scholarship applications?

1 March 2024

How long will it take for the decision to be made?

All decisions will be communicated in writing to the individual applicant as soon as the scholarship process has been completed. 

Upon closure of the Scholarship Application end date (1 March 2024), all applicants will be contacted within 2 weeks of a decision on whether you be invited for the round of interviews. 

The interview round can take up to 2 weeks to complete the process for all finalists. 

What fees do we still need to pay if we are awarded a scholarship? 

The following fees are still applicable: 

Application Fee - THB 6,000

Enrollment Fee - THB 250,000

Capital Development Fee - THB 500,000 (refundable) OR THB 40,000 (non-refundable)

Lunch and snack fee (variable). 

Other fees such as after-school activities, school bus, and additional learning resources are not covered by the scholarships.

I am overseas, can I still apply?

Yes. Our application process can be conducted remotely if you are overseas by video call. 

With regard to visa applications, VERSO will provide you with the required documents to apply for the visa. At this moment we do not provide a visa application service. 

Who can apply?

Both scholarships are open to students of all nationalities. Families with multiple children are open to apply

Decisions, Terms and Conditions

The school will appoint a Scholarship Selection Panel to review all scholarship applications. All decisions will be communicated in writing to the individual applicant as soon as possible.

  1. Only completed applications accompanied by all supporting documents will be considered. 

  2. Scholarships are limited in number, subject to availability and non-transferable. Even if an applicant meets scholarship criteria, a scholarship may not be awarded.
     
  3. Applicants will be assessed according to the assessment criteria set out for each scholarship category. VERSO’s Executive Committee decisions in relation to scholarships are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  4. All applicants will be required attend an interview with the Scholarship Selection Panel and if necessary may be requested to submit further information.

  5. Scholarship recipients will be liable to pay any non-tuition fee items which may be required for the program. This includes the Application Fee, Enrollment Fee, Capital Development Fee, Lunch and Snack Fees, and other fees such as after school activities, school bus and additional learning resources, which are not covered by the scholarships. Scholarships are subject to applicants meeting the entry requirements to the program.

  6. Continuation of the scholarship is subject to the recipient successfully meeting program requirements. This includes maintaining appropriate academic achievement, meeting all behavioral expectations and adhering to all program rules including the payment if any.
      
  7. Scholarships are reviewed annually to ensure all agreements and responsibilities are being met. If the recipient fails to maintain minimum achievement levels, or meet the school’s behavioral expectations then the scholarship may be forfeited with the recipient then liable for full tuition fees and costs.  

  8. The recipient must meet any and all payment due deadlines accordingly. Failure to meet any and all payment due dates will forfeit any scholarship awarded. 

  9. School Tuition Fees may be subject to an annual increase.  

  10. Scholarship recipients agree to become ambassadors for VERSO undertaking activities agreed as reasonable and acceptable by the scholarship recipient. This includes attending marketing and recruitment events; answering enquiries from prospective students; and the use of scholarship recipient’s images for any online and offline marketing collaterals including newsletters, blogs, social media platforms and third-party publications approved by VERSO.
