I hope the Songkran holidays are going well for you and your family, despite recent public health developments.
As you are aware, there has been an upsurge in COVID-19 cases in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. Our school’s leadership team has been monitoring the situation on a daily basis and, after careful consideration, has agreed that in the best interests of everyone at VERSO, it makes sense for us to continue remote learning for the next two weeks. At the moment, we are planning to resume on-site learning on Wednesday, 5 May, pending a review of the situation on Friday, 30 April.
This decision was not made lightly and we understand the possible disruption this may cause. However, the health and safety of our community must remain our priority. We feel this is a sensible and necessary precaution to keep our families and staff safe at this time.
Our Loop Leaders and their Learning Design Teams will be in contact with you directly with all necessary information regarding remote learning. All on-campus activities are now canceled until further notice.
Our operational teams will work on a rotational basis under strict health and safety measures. This will allow us to maintain a rigorous cleaning program across the school during this period. We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to keep the community updated of further developments in the coming days.
Although we are all disappointed not to reopen the campus next Monday, we hope that students and faculty can return to the campus on 5 May. Please continue to follow safety measures of wearing masks in public places, frequently washing your hands, avoiding crowded areas and maintaining physical distancing.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at this email.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Please take care.
