Dear VERSO families, faculty and staff,
First of all, I’d like to wish you all a Happy New Year and hope you are enjoying the holidays.
Unfortunately, as you know, Thailand is experiencing a surge in COVID cases in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. Yesterday, 2 January 2021, the Ministry of Education announced the closure of all public and private schools in Bangkok and high-risk provinces fro 4th January to 31st January.
As a result, VERSO’s campus will remain closed to all students and their families until Monday 1 February at the earliest.
Our Learning Designers will email families and students with details this week. Please follow CoCo and SeeSaw (Lower Loop) for updates. We are closely monitoring the situation and are in contact with the Samut Prakan Provincial Education Office, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Public Health. Should we receive any new information that will impact our community, we will communicate this to you. It is important that you check your VERSO Gmail, CoCo and our website regularly.
For your convenience, here is the link
Access to the VERSO campus will be restricted to faculty, staff and contractors only. Our staff will work on a rotational basis from 4th January 2021 onwards. Every person is required to fill the COVID Self-Declaration Form prior to entering the campus, indicating if they (or any members of their household) have traveled to Samut Sakhon or other provinces declared as “Maximum Controlled Zones”.
Every VERSO family must complete the VERSO Family Travel History Form (1 submission per person) once the school re-opens. We will send you the link to this form closer to date. Please note that when school resumes we may have to restrict entry to our campus to students and staff only. Again we will update you in due course. In the meantime, we recommend that you keep a log of places visited in the event that this is required for contact tracing purposes.
Please follow the government’s advice to restrict unnecessary travel between provinces especially to high-risk areas and follow the Ministry of Public Health’s DMHTT Guidelines (Distancing, Mask-wearing, Hand-washing, Testing (temperature check) and using the ThaiChana application).
For information on the current situation in English, we suggest you follow the government’s official news and information

We hope the disruption to regular schooling will be temporary. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com
In the meantime, please follow the government’s guidelines and take care.
