Become future ready and design driven.

At VERSO, we believe the future demands a different set of skills to those traditionally taught in conventional, narrow academic programs. That’s why we embraced the challenge to rethink and reimagine the school experience so it can better prepare students for what lies ahead.

With financial support from the school’s founders, VERSO’s Executive Committee is launching an audacious annual scholarship fund for the start of the academic year 2021-22.

We are built on three simple beliefs, our Purpose Pillars.

More About Us

VERSO delivers a compelling alternative to the traditional international school model, by offering families in Bangkok and beyond, the opportunity to experience an international education that has been designed to maximize the human potential of every student.

Working with the world’s leading design and innovation company, IDEO, we embarked on a pioneering journey to discover and understand what families, educators and students believed an international school in Bangkok should ideally deliver. Our research, which took us to leading schools in the US, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand gave us powerful insights that we used to shape our vision for VERSO.

Rapid changes in how we work, learn and live mean our education needs to be vastly different from what we’ve traditionally done, if we are to prepare young people for a future that’s changing faster than at any other time in human history.

VERSO Design Assets copy 2

We saw how the nature of work is changing and that young people are increasingly mobile during their working lives, changing jobs many times following graduation. We realized how important it was for young people to be able to respond to a constantly shifting employment landscape.

VERSO Design Assets

We saw how university and college admissions were changing. We noticed how these institutions are questioning the traditional transcript and standardized test results as the criteria for admission. We learned that universities and colleges were exploring new ways to assess and predict student success. We also realized that they were actively seeking students who were going to make a difference in the world.

VERSO Design Assets copy

We saw that schools were changing, too. As technology reshapes what is possible in a classroom, new pedagogies are challenging the traditional roles of teachers and students.

We are an international school that helps students develop a strong sense of personal and cultural identity along with a deep understanding of, and an ability to actively engage with, the world around them. Our students will gain the confidence to lead their own journey and pursue any path they choose.
Screen_Shot_2021-03-12_at_6.36.07_PM-removebg-preview

An international education exposes students to a rich, intercultural environment. To navigate that environment with authenticity and confidence, we support our students as they seek to understand who they are, how they are connected to the cultures around them, and where they will go next.

While our passports and flags define one facet of our citizenship, how we choose to interact and contribute defines another. Beyond just absorbing and retaining knowledge, our students develop a passion for applying what they learn to the world around them.

Once students graduate from school, they are asked to make choices that shape their life-journey. It takes years to develop the skills of decision-making and self-direction, so we believe it’s important to start early.
