C1-2 VERSOpolitan Showtime

Our C1-2 learners recently organized an event called the "VERSOpolitan Showtime." The goal of this event was to apply their newly acquired persuasive language skills in a practical setting.
They organized three mini "tug of wars" for different parts of a meal: appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The learners conducted research and designed posters to present dishes from the East and West in a head-to-head battle. They tasted the dishes and picked their preferred side (East or West).
Then, parents who prepared the dishes and learners who created posters for those dishes presented short arguments to convince learners to switch sides. It was a lively debate, and we want to express our gratitude to the parents for their support and enthusiasm in making this event successful!
