At the recent C5-6 Showtime, our learners presented their Anthropocene marble track projects, which they designed and built to chronologically represent their chosen period of human history, with an accompanying historical fictional text that dates from that time. Some of the topics presented were related to the history of food, music, games, transportation, and space.
Through this project, they learned math and art, and developed explicit skills in physics, measurement, creative design, text types, writing, editing, and historical research.
