Our Director of Technology & Data Protection Officer, Dr. Rolly Maiquez, recently gave a fascinating talk to families on ChatGPT, which has been making waves in the tech world. 

ChatGPT is a state-of-the-art language model created by OpenAI that can generate human-like responses to a variety of questions and prompts. 

Dr. Rolly explained how ChatGPT works and what makes it unique compared to other AI models. He emphasized that while AI has the potential to revolutionize education, it is important to consider the ethical and societal implications and to keep in mind that AI is not meant to replace teachers, but rather to support them and enhance their work.

He also pointed out the importance of preparing students for the future by incorporating AI into the curriculum so they can understand the technology and use it responsibly and effectively.
