Our international middle years curriculum in Bangkok is built on the foundational academic skills and learning experiences developed in the Lower Loop. Learning Labs have a stronger emphasis on math, English, science, well-being and design. Learning is self-directed and highly project-based, building confidence, communication, creativity to develop future-ready skills.
Learners have mentors and experts guiding them through a purposeful process that is challenging and demanding in the way of setting goals and revising constant feedback on their progress.
Learners at this age begin to develop strong opinions, personal traits and qualities which we will support, share, and learn about together. They will actively engage with learning experiences that also go beyond the walls, allowing them to authentically apply their learning to real-world settings, which deepens their connection and understanding of the world in which they live. The driving purpose in our international junior high school in Bangkok is to provide experiences where students can experiment with ideas and questions to discover their passion and purpose. As they transition to Upper Loop students bring a sense of identity and exploration they will further cultivate and shape.
